Following my imprisonment and subsequent expulsion from Egypt, recounted in my book "The Nomadic Impulse", I experienced a period of decline in my city. It was then, a few months later, that Pepe Ribas, the founder of the legendary magazine "Ajoblanco," proposed that I revive it. I worked there from 1987 until mid-1993. Those were years of hard work during which I honed my skills as a journalist, conducting interviews, writing articles, and taking hundreds of portraits. Since many of those articles and interviews remain relevant today, I've decided to create a page on my website featuring the most interesting ones.
