The Land of Souls

The Land of Souls is a work in progress. A project begun in the late 1990s, which continues to this day, it explores the traditional beliefs of the Akan people in southeastern Ivory Coast. It portrays rituals and ceremonies of possession and trance.

The project has already yielded two results: the book "Journey to the Land of Souls" and the film "Return to the Land of Souls." I am currently preparing "The Land of Souls," which I will complete in the future.
