Journey to a forgotten world

Balearic Islands, 2025

From September 20, 2024, to May 25, 2025, the Toni Catany International Photography Center will host the exhibition "Journey to a Forgotten World" by Jordi Esteva, curated by Laura Terré.

Conceived as a retrospective exhibition, it encompasses the diverse themes and environments photographed by Jordi Esteva, from Bangladesh to Colombia, including Yemen, Egypt, Morocco, and Ivory Coast, showcasing the talent of this passionate traveler who expresses himself through image and writing.

The nearly one hundred photographs and four audiovisual pieces that comprise the exhibition serve as a counterpoint to the memoirs Esteva has published in recent years: *The Nomadic Impulse* and *Journey to a Forgotten World* (Galaxia Gutenberg, 2021-2023).
